ANTI-PLAGIARISM POLICY

The journal CerebrIQ International Journal (CRQIJ), an annual publication founded in 2025 and published by DB Ediciones, ensures that all academic articles it publishes are original, unpublished, and have not been previously disseminated in any other medium, either in whole or in part. Furthermore, the journal does not engage in any simultaneous evaluation or editorial decision-making processes with other publications.

To guarantee compliance with these standards, CRQIJ uses similarity detection tools such as Crossref (iThenticate), Turnitin, and Plag.es to analyze submitted manuscripts. Additionally, other resources such as DupliChecker, Plagium, and Copyscape, among others, may be employed when deemed necessary.

The plagiarism check will be carried out before the peer-review process begins. If the similarity report exceeds 20%, the authors will be notified via email, with the complete report and the expert’s analysis attached. This will allow the authors to provide their observations so that the journal can assess whether or not the case constitutes plagiarism. If confirmed, the article will be rejected and will not proceed to the evaluation stage.

In addition, editors may suggest that authors use alternative online platforms to review their manuscripts before submitting them for publication.
